Frequently asked questions

Which subtitle tool should I choose?

Use Text to SRT when you have a script without timing. Use SRT to TXT when you already have captions and want a readable transcript. Both tools are available above; the dedicated pages explain their options in more detail.

Does SRT Pilot edit videos or transcribe audio?

No. These tools work with text and subtitle documents. They do not listen to recordings, translate dialogue or modify your video. Start with an existing transcript or subtitle file.

Can I use the tools without an account?

Yes. The tools are free and require no sign-up. Files are processed in browser memory. Optional analytics only run after consent and do not include your subtitle content.

Where can I report a problem?
