A few practical notes about using SRT Pilot.

Using the tools

SRT Pilot provides free browser-based tools for converting text and subtitle files. Only process content you are entitled to use. You retain ownership of your content.

Review your output

Text to SRT generates timing from the settings you choose. It does not recognize speech or synchronize subtitles to a recording. Review the output in your intended player or editor before publishing, and keep an original copy of your files.

Availability

YouTube Transcript Generator retrieves existing captions through a third-party provider. It does not transcribe audio or bypass restricted video access. Captions and their timing may contain errors. Availability and request limits apply. SRT Pilot is not affiliated with YouTube or Google.

The tools are provided as available, without a guarantee that every file format variation or third-party application will be supported. Features and limits may change as the product develops.

Imports and paid plans

Verified accounts receive 3 free imports each calendar month (UTC), subject to availability and service budgets. A successful retrieval uses one import. Local editing and exports do not use imports. Failed retrievals release your allowance. The same request can recover a successful result for 24 hours without another charge.

The $5 pack includes 50 imports valid for 12 months after purchase, with no automatic renewal. Pro costs $9 per month and renews automatically until canceled. Each paid billing period includes 200 imports that expire at the end of that period and do not roll over. Purchased packs are separate. Prices are in USD; checkout shows the applicable total.

Cancel Pro from your billing account before renewal. Cancellation stops future renewals; paid access continues until the current period ends. Local projects and basic editing remain available. Audio transcription and translation are not included. Contact contact@srtpilot.com for purchase problems or refund requests; any refund may revoke the corresponding purchased allowance. Statutory consumer rights are unaffected.
